MTB Suspension Maintenance: Keeping Your Rear Shock in Top Shape
Keeping your mountain bike's suspension maintained is vital to keep it working, get top performance and preserver your investment. Suspension service is recommended at least once a year. Here is the details:
1. Damper bleeding
Rear shocks, including coil shocks, include an hydraulic damper to control the spring. This damper works with viscosity: oil going through different hydraulic parts to provide the right level of damping. Most rear shocks require the right oil and bleed. Most need a vaccum machine to achieve the right level of bleed with no air left inside.
2. Rear Shock Lubrication
